The services and amenities available in a senior living community are some of the most important features when choosing which community is right for you. At Saint Simeon’s, we celebrate our area’s natural beauty and spacious campus by offering unique amenities that improve the quality of life for our residents. In this post, we’ll explore three special amenities at Saint Simeon’s that make our community a great place to live.
Our 50 acre campus in the beautiful Osage Hills of Tulsa have been accredited by the National Wildlife Federation as a Natural Wildlife Habitat. Beautiful creatures such as peacocks, turtles, koi, doves and many more are happy to make their home here, roaming through the courtyard and raising their young. It is also common to see other wildlife native to Northeastern Oklahoma while relaxing outdoors, including small herds of deer, foxes, hawks, squirrels, possums and raccoons.
Many seniors at our retirement community enjoy taking a morning or evening stroll on the walking paths while enjoying the scenery at Eckel Park. Our ice cream parlor is located right on the edge of the park, making it a prime location for our Annual Ice Cream Social. Residents also enjoy a number of additional social and recreational outdoor activities at Eckel Park. Campus courtyards at Saint Simeon’s feature a gazebo, a Koi pond, patios and gardens for a peaceful retreat.
