Saint Simeon’s MEMORY CENTER is a nationally-recognized Alzheimer’s center that has been providing a safe and comfortable home-like setting for individuals with Alzheimer’s Disease and related dementia for 20 years. Licensed by the State of Oklahoma, the Memory Center provides a loving, safe and comfortable home-like setting. Residents are free to walk throughout the 27,000 square-foot Center that offers a secure environment. There is a beautifully maintained Memory Center fenced courtyard.
The University of Oklahoma College of Medicine serves as the Medical Director for the Center. The Center is managed by a Registered Nurse and is staffed 24 hours a day by professionals who are specifically trained in caring for people with dementia.
The Memory Center’s cutting-edge design includes dividing the space into six home units connected by wide and well-lighted walking paths. The home units surround a large common activity space that provides room for group activities and visiting entertainment. Each home unit consists of 5 to 7 bedrooms, a living room, dining area, and a nurse aide station that also is designed to look and function as a kitchen for supervised projects. Outside each room is a glass-enclosed Memory Box that allows Residents and family members to place their favorite family pictures or other items that represent the Resident’s life and interests.

- Continuous camera, infrared and Wander System
- Nursing care

- Full laundry services
- Daily housekeeping services
- Whirlpool baths or showers
- Wide, inviting enclosed walkways
- Secure courtyard areas with patios, gliders, individual seating and walking paths
